Spectrum V 5 string bass
24 fret 2 pickup 5 string bass. The 2
basses below appeared on ebay.com in Jan 2005. I've never seen any
others of this model. More details to follow
when it arrives (I bought the white one) Body style looks similar to
the Spectrum Series II models, headstock similar to the Dimension IV
and Dynasty
That
was fast - 4 days later the bass is here. Not bad for a 3000 mile trip.
Controls
are - 3 way switch, single volume and two tone controls. Nut width is
only 45mm, which is ideal for me - I don't have long fingers, and
the only other 5 string bass I've had (Hohner B2V Steinberger clone)
had a fat wide neck which caused me problems. The neck on this is slim
and narrow and plays fast. Scale length is 34 inches.
